This is a RadioShack Pro-2096 Digital Trunking Scanner suitable for both desktop and mobile use. This scanner has 1000 channels and the ability to handle digital trunking, digital conventional, and analog communications protocols, so it offers a wide range of capabilities. Features include a channel monitor, automatic noise limiter, CTCSS, DCS, and NOAA weather channels.
This was my father's scanner so I know the history and that it was cared for. He purchased it new, and it sat on his desk for a few years before it went back into the box. It includes original manuals, power adapter, mounting hardware, antenna, and the original box. It's in great condition with only a few minor scuffs, and minor damage to the corner of the box.
