Baltic blue metallic, French navy leather piped magnolia with dark walnut trim.2005.192k miles.
We bought this car from our local LR specialist in 2022 as a stop-gap after our previous L322 was written off, it was his personal car previously so well cared for and its been in our family ever since.
It has the ultra reliable BMW M57 3.0 diesel engine which has been faultless and neither uses nor leaks any oil or water. It’s had £1000’s spent on maintenance including a full gearbox service last Christmas (£600), new in-tank and in-line fuel pumps (£1098) new ignition switch (£176) new alternator (£339) a genuine LR spare key from Harwoods LR (£503!!! inc coding) air-con re-gas (£85) Yuasa Battery, tyres, etc etc.
It’s totally original throughout with no tints, stick-on chrome or cracked 22” wheels, in fact it still has its original fully working sat-nav unit which is rare now along with its parcel shelf.
All the common failing points work including the electric steering column, radio/CD player, the rear wiper, the heated front screen, sunroof, air-con (ice cold) remote central locking works on both keys and all locks/boot/global close and there are no fault lights on the dash.
The car also has automatic xenon head lights, cruise control, all 4 seats are heated, the front 18 way-electric (inc lumber) with memory, working programmable diesel heater which you can set to come on at 6am on winter mornings so the cars warm/defrosted (this is amazing).
It hasn't been used off road or for towing but does have a removable tow-bar which has been left on for protection in car parks. We use it mainly at weekends hence only doing around 2k miles a year.
The MOT is valid until February 2027, the MOT history is good for a one of these,OY05 EWS if you want to check it.
Its in really good condition for it age with no significant dents/damage, obviously there's few bits here and there. Its an old Range so has its negatives, the wheel arches have the usual bits of rust but are far better than most and not picked up on the MOT. It was a cat D 16 years ago.
My LR specialist got the air-suspension working by resetting it a couple of weeks ago but its stopped working again. Its been like this for a year, it’s at the normal ride height and doesn't loose air so its not a problem unless you're short and need it to get in I guess.
Everything else works and it drives beautifully with a super smooth gearbox. You can jump in this right now and drive it to Scotland with the cruise control and air-con on. Reluctantly for sale due to inheriting a newer one.
No time wasters/Mike Brewers or groups thanks.
Located 10 mins from Gatwick airport.
