A cracking pair of Vintage Sterling Silver Sauce Ladles in the Old English Pattern.

Made by J Rodgers & Sons Ltd in Sheffield in the 1930s.

Good solid pieces, 6.5'', 17cm long, the bowls are 2.65'', 6cm wide and a chunky 135g in weight.

They are hallmarked;  Crown for Sheffield,   Lion Passant, One is o for 1931 the other is p for 1932, J.R&S for J Rodgers & Sons.
Then the company's star & cross trade mark in punch shapes `

In splendid condition, good and straight, no bends, cracks or twists, the bowls are perfect too.
