Welcome to our company, "The Bomb Shelter", one of the nation's largest stores of its kind selling vintage and antique items from all eras. eBay local pickup is available during business hours, please contact if you need this option!

HERE WE HAVE: A vintage fire fighter helmet! The helmet itself looks to only be marked "MSA A1" inside. The front of the helmet has a leather, or leather-like, patch that reads "FIREMAN". The sides of the helmet are marked with sticker letters "PHOTOGRAPHER" and the name "SAM" is on the back, also in sticker letters.

CONDITION: Acceptable condition! It is a vintage safety helmet, so I don't know if it fits modern safety standards.. being sold as a display piece! There are scuffs, scratches, dings, stains, and spots of color loss throughout. The straps inside have some tears, staining, and general wear. The leather patch on the front has some splitting and loose threads. Will come as shown, so please see photos!

MEASUREMENTS: Helmet doesn't seem to be marked with a size. At the furthest, outside points, it measures approximately 11 5/8" wide, 14 5/8" front-to-back, and 7" tall. The head opening is about 8" wide and 9" front-to-back.

SHIPPING: Calculated.

Thank you for looking and please Email through eBay with any questions!

RETURNS:   We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase but if you choose to make a return for reasons not pertaining to a defective or damaged item then the buyer shall be responsible for shipping charges both ways - only the initial purchase price will be refunded. When items are returned that had shipping included in the eBay purchase price “FREE SHIPPING”, the actual shipping will not be refunded when item is returned due to the fact that no shipping is really free.  In the case of a damaged item we will expect the buyer to contact us and to assist in filing an insurance claim in order to be compensated for the loss. The "not as described" return option is not to be used to resolve damaged item cases. As stated above, the pictures provided are the description - the buyer is responsible for being aware of what they are purchasing - as long as the item delivered matches the photographs in the listing we will consider the item to match the description.
