Up for sale is a Custom Made Birch shell 22"x 5.5” Pancake bass drum, made using Mapex and other Parts

A 22" Mapex Mars Birch bass drum shell has been cut down to 5.5” deep, new edges have been applied to open end.

The shell comes finished outside, with a factory applied 'Silver Glitter' Fully Glued on Wrap, this has been cleaned down and hand polished to finish off. 

The 2 previous fixings holes from tom mount post have been closed using dome head bolts and nylon insert nuts.

The shell finish is in great shape, however there might be some minor marks/chips etc. from previous use, please check out photos in listing and make up your own mind?

This drum comes fitted with a Mapex standard fold away bass drum legs/spurs that were original factory fitted to the bass drum being cut down.

Clear lacquered wood hoop supplied, complete with an almost new condition Remo Mapex branded clear batter inner edge ring head fitted, which has been tuned with the assistance of my Drum Dial so sounds like it should, muffle to suit your own tastes?
