Antique Vintage Lenci Or Similar Cloth Girl Doll C.1930s
Felt doll with felt moulded face, painted features including side glancing eyes, blonde mohair wig, fully jointed. Wears undergarments, yellow felt underskirt and brown felt dress and yellow bonnet with floral appliqué detail. No visible manufacturer marks but strongly resembles a Lenci doll, faint ‘1’ in pen to bottom of both feet.
Height 39.5cm/ 15.5”.
Fair condition with some discolouration and staining overall, a couple of minor holes to hands but otherwise intact and free from moth damage, a few small tears to undergarments.
Joints in working order although arm joints a little loose and I have not removed undergarments for fear of damaging the arm joints.
