Based on the design philosophy of Ibanez's next-generation guitar "AZ series," this TOD10 is a signature model that thoroughly reflects the unique playing style and sound philosophy of Tim Henson, guitarist of the progressive instrumental rock band "Polyphia."
Its most distinctive feature is the Fishman Fluence Tim Henson Signature Series pickup, developed specifically for Tim Henson.
This pickup allows for instant switching between three musical voices via a push/pull tone knob (voicing switch), ranging from aggressive, modern lead tones to clean single-coil sounds, and even ultra-clean sounds that serve as an alternative to acoustic guitars with nylon strings.
This enables his complex and versatile sound shaping across genres.
The neck features Ibanez's signature AZ Oval C shape, combining comfortable grip with classic playability, and is made of roasted maple for stability and durability.
The fingerboard is made of ebony, providing quick response and rich sustain, and features a special "Tree of Death" inlay symbolizing Tim Henson's originality.
The frets are jumbo stainless steel, offering excellent maintainability and a clear attack.
