Rare vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Classique mesh dress from the Spring Summer 2000 collection, crafted in lightweight double-layer

nylon mesh.

The dress features a striking tropical / tribal-inspired graphic print in muted olive, black, turquoise and orange tones, with contrasting orange overlock stitching along the neckline, straps, sides and tiered hem.

Designed with a fitted sleeveless upper body, scoop neckline, and long fluid maxi silhouette. The lower part is finished with a gathered flounced panel, giving movement and transparency while keeping the dress softly structured through its double-layer construction. A beautiful early 2000s Gaultier piece, combining tattoo-like imagery, ethnic references and the house’s signature second-skin mesh language.
