      “Big E” USS ENTERPRISE was the second of the Yorktown Class aircraft carriers. Construction commenced in 1934 and official launch was in 1936, entering service in 1938.

       ENTERPRISEnarrowly escaped the unannounced Japanese attack onPearl Harboron December 7, 1941 due to stormy weather. Without any further delay,ENTERPRISEwas immediately tasked with combat duty against the Japanese. 

       “Big E” provided cover for the Doolittle Raid on mainlandJapanand took part in the Battle of Midway, Battle of Philippines, Leyte Gulf and provided air support during  the Guadalcanal campaign, Gilbert Islands,Marshall Islands,Palau,Iwo Jimaand Ryukyu. For a long period of time, “Big E” took onJapanuntil more aircraft carriers entered service.

       After WWII, “Big E” took part in “Operation Magic Carpet” and broughtU.S.troops back toUSA. Decommissioned in 1947,ENTERPRISEwas dismantled in 1958 yet the legend of “EnterpriseversusJapan” lives on.

DANGEROUS GOODS

Dangerous goods include anything combustible, that is: fuel, spray cans, compressed air cans and rocket engines.
 

Australia Post will not accept dangerous goods, therefore they must be shipped via Courier using the Express Shipping option. If there are any additional charges for your order we will contact you before charging.

Couriers cannot deliver to a PO Box and please allow up to 2 weeks for the delivery of dangerous goods.

Please note that due to new legislative requirements, we cannot shop model rocket engines to South Australia.

Returns policy

Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging.

When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We will be unable to process your return if parts are missing, or if items are not packed properly to avoid damage to products and their boxes and/or packages. The contents must be returned in the original plastic covers and arranged in a manner that will not damage the contents or packaging. Please return your item to C J Vogler & Son along with your details. Freight charges will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for insured shipping back to us.

Damaged Merchandise

If a package has been damaged in shipping and it is apparent when the package arrives at your door, please REFUSE the delivery. If you have already accepted a package, and then discover that it has been damaged, call us immediately. We'll take it from there. Be sure to save all paperwork and packing material with the damaged goods. The carrier may wish to inspect it before processing the claim. Please do not return damaged-in-shipment merchandise yourself. It could jeopardize your claim and keep you from receiving credit for the return.

Lost Boxes
