Very hard to find Vintage Strawberry Shortcake 2-Sided Window Ornament 'A Time For Friends'.  First in a series.

Made in 1984 in Hong Kong.

The round ornament is approximately 4" tall, including the cap.  The cap is stamped "A.G.C." for 
American Greetings Corporation.

The ornament is made from plastic, with clear plastic centers.  On one side, Strawberry Shortcake and Custard are outside in the "snow," waving through the window at Apple Dumpling and Gooseberry who are inside.

This ornament has been used and it has some scratches on the clear plastic, a few small marks and a few dings in the gold borders of the windows.  The gold color caps tend to rust on the inside, which can sometimes be seen on the ornament (see next to last photo).

There are no structural issues such as breaks.  This very rare 40+-year-old ornament looks good and is ready to be added to your collection.  I'm sorry but I do not have the original box.
