But this Cover made of polypropylene, it is lighter and the product strength and impact resistance are almost the same as it.

How does the guard work ?
The Safety Cover is made to surround the propeller like a nozzle.
This designed nozzle action moves water with a controlled directional force which gives the boat improved handling and more power.
This nozzle action is accomplished with no moving parts to adjust or replace.
Whether you have an outboard or stern drive, the propeller cover will increase propeller efficiency, decrease fuel consumption and
improve boat handling while reducing hull and engine stress.

How to Install a Marine outboard 14" propeller safety guard ?
Propeller Guard Installation Instructions :
- Tools Prepared : Drill with 5/16" bit , 9 sets bolts
- 14" Propeller Cover upper need 6 sets bolt , under need 4 sets bolt .
- Place the propeller Guard on the underside of the cavitation plate . Align the guard so that equal distance exists between the guard and the prop when the propeller revolves inside the guard
- The guard should be positioned as far forward on the cavitation plate as possible .
- Remove trim tab under cavitation before installation of propeller guard for 9" 11" 13" 14" guards
- Drill 6 holes through the cavitation plate and guard . insert bolts , wahsers and Nyloc nuts as illustrated and loosely tighten .
- Drill 2 holes through lower skeg , per illustration , insert bolt , wahser and Nyloc nut , tighten securely . Now tighten cavitation bolts .
