TIME CAPSULE!
I was a wholesaler and online retailer, held the largest account of Corgi Collectible line items on the US Market, and received my items directly from Corgi USA.
Please see the attached photos, one of which shows the OEM Master Shipping box with the inner box on top. It has been stored (sealed) in a climate-controlled storage facility since its arrival a quarter century ago. 
The model's boxes retain their high-gloss finish, and the window film is crystal clear, typical only for boxes not exposed to light and/or extended air circulation.
The condition of the model(s) could not be better!

 

Corgi Toys has a long history and is very popular with its TV and Film model releases.
·         In 2002, Corgi released several items in their very popular TV and Film Favorites series TV and Film collections (both the UK and US lines); check the attached photo of a page from the 2002 Corgi catalog.
·         This particular Corgi release of the famous MINI in three colors, as seen in the cult The Italian Job movie (1969), has distinctive features, such as a large-sized window box with a charming artwork design (including a background depicting a scene from the famous escape race from the movie), and namely, a fine metal, hand-painted driver figure with gold bars.
·         All three models (the Red, White, and Blue) have the same 04441 part number, and an inner shipping box holds two models in each color.

In my opinion, as a collector, this model is laughable in terms of quality compared to modern standards (though practically all releases from this series were originally developed for the CORGI Toy Line). But take a look at its memorabilia collectible value, and who is laughing now?
