Vintage "The Wilroy Traveller New York" Lined Sheer Tulip Floral Garden Blouse and Maxi Skirt - 1960's. In excellent, vintage, preowned condition. The ILGWU did a wonderful job bringing a garden filled with tulips to life in this lovely outfit 🌷. White background with pink and soft orange tulips, lavender flowers, with the green leaves and grass along the bottom. Sheer over a soft, white lining. Blouse has a v-neck with a tie, long sleeves with gathered floral along sleeve hem with a delicate pearl button closure. Appears to have had a thin belt at one time, as the tiny woven loops are still present, which can still be used or very easily removed. Size tags in both pieces have long faded away, so please check all measurements and keep in mind that this was meant to be worn loose and Boho 'flowy'. 

  Top - Lining is only in the front of this blouse - 20" pit to pit or 40" all the way around, 14" underarm to hem, 26" neckline to sleeve hem (there is no shoulder seam), 40" all the way around at the hem, 23" long center back top to hemline. 

  Skirt - rear zipper with hook & bar closure, fully lined (fabric lining feels like rayon), 27" waist which can lightly stretch to 29", 44" long waist to hem, 60" all the way around at the hemline. 

   FYI - In vintage clothing, a 27" waist is typically classified as a Modern Size Small (US 4/6) or a Vintage Size 12 to 14.

   Tag specifies that this set is to be hand washed with Woolite, which I have done. Selling just as shown.
