Up for your consideration is a vintage 1937 Copeland Spode of England beaker, tumbler, or cup without handles commemorating the Coronation of King George VI. The front side has a portrait of the royal family, including a young Queen Elizabeth II as a child. The portrait is flanked by a view of the Houses of Parliament and Windsor Castle.The back reads: To Commemorate the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth - May 12th 1937.

The beaker or tumbler stands 4 3/8 inches tall, measures 2 3/4 inches across the top, and weighs 8 3/8 ounces.

The bottom is marked: crown symbol - GRE cypher - Copeland - Spode - England - Portraits By Marcus Adams.

The beaker is in excellent, vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. There are no signs of wear or use.
