- AN EXCELLENT CONDITION, VERY HIGH GRADE 15 JEWEL SOLID 18K YELLOW GOLD 40MM GUTKAES & LANGE (DRESDEN) DEMI-HUNTER POCKET WATCH
Today I have the honor of offering a top grade hunter's case ladies' pocket watch which measures 40mm in diameter, Yellow 18K original case made by Gutkaes & Lange, Stemwind, Very Rare Button set, Black Ink Dial is unsigned on the front of the dial with 15 jewel capped lever escapement with very fine compensating balance, full gold timing screws, Lange banking pallet, blued steel HS with isochronal overcoil, fine regulator; movement is also unsigned, making this quite an interesting piece. Total weight is 59.5 grams!
Strong Running Order and keeping time, good balance motion, good poise, plates show no damage, mint slots & settings, no oxide on bright work, mint winding wheels; dial is perfect; blued steel hands are mint; original very heavy gauge case shows minimal wear, tight lids, few MFS; bow is fine and tight, crown shows wear but is original; good glass crystals; a truly great example of a lady's Lange!
