Vintage 1945 MOVIE GLAMOUR Magazine Eleanor Parker #1 First Issue & #2 Set Lot. These are both missing the back page. It looks like the front and back cover were not stapled with the rest (this is how they all were). So if the magazine was read you would have to crease the pages. The pages in both are not creased. They both look like they have very very slight moisture damage to the binding area but it looks like it only affected a little of the cover and the back cover which neither of them have. The rest of the pages look very nice. I really expected more damage on the pages but the majority of the pages in both magazines look really good. The Jennifer Jones magazine has a few pages where the bottom corner is folded over (see picture). I saw 5 pages that had that little fold over. I do not see any folded corners in the first edition. I do not see any ripped pages in the #1. The #2 has a very small tear about 1/4” in the last 5 pages at the bottom (see pictures). The back 2 pages also has a hole close to the bottom see 2 pictures after the rip. These little flaws seem very small to me since they are from 1945. I do not collect magazines and I can not grade them. I can only give my opinion and I always try to explain everything I see. I know a collector is going to look for things I couldn’t try to guess. I appreciate that and respect it. So if you are a collector with a question please ask me and I will try to answer it. There are very few of these magazines that I found to compare these to. I saw 5 total between the 2 up on eBay. Those all had the back cover. I feel like these were very comparable to those with the back cover exception. I am listing both #1 and #2 as a set that I am not breaking up. They do not have any smoke smell or other bad odors. Please see pictures for actual product. The pictures are part of the description.
