This stunning specimen was discovered in quarry fill dirt in Volusia County, Florida, originating from the deep prehistoric marine layers of the Nashua Formation (Pliocene Epoch, approximately 1.8 to 3.5 million years old).
Premium Mineralization: Features a thick, glass-like exposed seam of translucent, smoky blue-gray chalcedony agate running right down the outer shell valve.
Hidden Treasure: The deep, clean interior cup contains a rare, packed pocket of natural purple druzy crystals (amethyst/fluorite quartz variation) nestled right in the center matrix.
Condition: Excellent raw condition with fantastic, crisp architectural wave-rumbles/frills along the perimeter. Unpolished and completely natural.
