For sale: Franklin Mint Armor Collection 1/48 scale Hurricane MKIIC 213 Squadron in tropical markings. I have owned this plane from new and have never displayed it.
This model is brand new and in mint condition. It has never been displayed and was only taken out of the box to be inspected and photographed.
The only flaw is on the outside box which has slight crushing on one side in the corners. See close up photos for detail.
One of the four cannons is slightly out of position (which is common with these planes!). That was not caused by me and has always been the case.
Otherwise it is in immaculate condition. No flaws to paintwork whatsoever. This particular model does not use a secure screw to keep it in place. Instead it used two pieces of yellow plastic which hold the plane in position along with the usual styrofoam packaging. All internal packaging including blue plastic cups are present and in perfect working order.
The plane also comes with a small (quite rare) catalogue booklet showing all 1:100 and 1:48 models in the collection. Book is also in mint condition.
