2010 Squier (neck only) by Fender (China) that's been modified to have a vintage vibe and improved playability. New pickups include 3 custom wound single coil pickups (GFS) that have clean output in all selection positions with classic Stratocaster tones, They also sound great with a bit of gain. All cavities have aluminum tape shielding and there is no 60 cycle hum. The electronics reside in a tortoise shell pickguard and it has a matching back tremolo cavity cover. Control bits – pickup covers, volume/tone knobs, switch tip, and tremolo arm tip are cream colored. For added security, a set of Schaller-type strap locks have been installed. 

The bridge has a big tremolo block installed for better tone and sustain, and the saddles have been replaced with modern block steel saddles. 

The maple neck has a 21 medium fret rosewood fretboard. The C-shape profile, 25.5" scale, 12" radius, 42mm nut-width. The back of the neck is extremely smooth and feels great! It has a new set of sealed-gear tuners, a new Tusq nut installed, and is strung with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky nickel wound 9-42 strings and has had a complete set-up done including: truss-rod/action adjusted, intonation & pickup heights. 

All-in-all, it is a really nice Stratocaster that plays and sounds great, has a vintage vibe, but has an evil side, and is affordable. It includes a snakeskin strap, string winder, extra tremolo springs, assorted picks, adjustment hex keys, and a padded gig bag.
