Up for sale is a beautiful mid-century vintage Japanese woodblock print by renowned Ukiyo-e master artist Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858). This print depicts Station #16, "Night Snow at Kanbara," from his iconic series "The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō."
This piece was hand-printed on traditional handmade Japanese washi paper by the famous Uchida Art Co., Ltd. in Kyoto, Japan. It comes beautifully framed and features the official explanatory insert sheet attached on the back, ensuring its authenticity as an artisan mid-20th-century reproduction.
CONDITION: The print features vibrant ink work and excellent woodblock texturing. The frame shows minor age-appropriate shelf wear but is structurally sound. Please see photos for exact condition. Ready to display! There are some flecks of something in between the glass and the matting. It can be removed by taking out the woodblock.
