Southside Place is a small town on the outskirts of Houston if you could even call it a town of a couple square miles. They do, however, have a Police Department.
Chief Mike Staggs (retired in 2003) had served as a Highway Patrolman for 9 years prior to beginning work with the City of Southside Place in 1979.
Chief Staggs had great admiration for the Texas Rangers as well as his German Shepherd named "Helga".
He came to me and expressed interest in getting a custom made K9 badge for Helga. After approving the design, I made it (my hallmark is on the reverse).
However, it was never picked up or paid for.
And no; I do not have any Texas Ranger badges for sale.
