Up for auction is this rare commemorative cup & saucer.  It was made to  commemorate the Coronation of HM King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902.  It was manufactured by Wileman & Co / Foley China, (pre Shelley China).  The oversized set comes in a bright white bone china with a scalloped design and shows a detailed Royal Coat of Arms on both the cup and saucer.  Reverse side of the cup shows an oval vignette which says 'King of Great Britain and Ireland and of the British Dominions beyond the seas - Emperor of India'.  The panel is framed with a laurel wreath.  Cup measures 4" in dia. x 2-5/8" tall.  Saucer is 6-1/2".  Both crests are all hand enameled in bright colors.  The set comes in excellent condition with no chips, cracks and no wear to the bright gold trim.   Buyer pays only actual shipping costs with no added charges.  Shipping within the USA will be $12.00 using USPS mailing service.  Good Luck !!    Please take a few moments to view other listings for more interesting items.  Thanks.
