Here is a pair that I guess needs some restoration for the purist. the decorative element however is here and these certainly have the look ! , I think you can make them work , first off they appear to be gilt wood , I assume there 19th century not 18th but I could be wrong , I think at one point someone turned them into lamps , perhaps that's why the tops look like they do and if that was done it was a long time ago as you can see the dark oxidation of the wood , there is some loss, general wear and for some reason one side of each is in a silver gilt the rest is gold , so I dont know what they where originally ? again great look and a great size at 32 inches , currently listing as local pickup as we are about to go away on a buying trip when we are back the week of June 8 I will change that and offer some sort of shipping .
