Original Hand Colored Lithograph by England's most famous bird artist. He is considered by some to be the English Audubon. It is in very good original condition, with no tears, marks or creases, (see photos). The photos are part of the description. "White Eyed Pochard" "Nyroca Leucophthalmos" Male (foreground) with female. From the "Birds Of Great Britain" Published in London, 1862-1873, ( it took 11 years to complete the set) in which there were 367 lithographs. There were 397 original subscribers who paid Gould in advance to own a copy of the complete work. A total of 500 copies were produced. Paper size; 15" x 22".
