Adafruit Circuit Playground E-ink Gizmo with audio amplifier, 3-colored epaper display

Expand your Circuit Playground Board with this Circuit Playground Gizmo from Adafruit.

The EPaper display has a screen diagonal of 1.54 "and has a resolution of 152x152 pixels. It is red and black pixels on a white background. The static display enables the screen content to exist, even if the supply voltage has been completely separated. The high contrast makes the image look as printed and offers good readability in daylight.

On the back of the Gizmos there are two 3-pin stemma connections for connecting e.g. Neopixel LED strips and an audio amplifier with Molex Picoblade connection. You can find a suitable loudspeaker here.

This expansion board is ideal for the Circuit Playground Express and BlueFruit and can be used with Arduino and Circuitpython. Please note that Circuitpython is very memory -intensive and only simple expenses on the display can be made when using the Circuit Playground Express. We therefore recommend Circuit Playground BlueFruit if you want to use the display with circuitpython. Please note that the display is not with the Circuit Playground Classic can be used - the microcontroller has too little RAM.

The round board has fixed M3 spacers, which serve both as a mechanical and electrical connections to the circuit below. The scope of delivery includes the built-up board and 12 m3 screws.
