This lapel pin or tie tack is made with a Fall Out Boy guitar pick. It is a real guitar pick.

The pictures on these guitar picks might look grainy, blurry or dotted. I know that the picture is exceptionally bad. This is due to the fact that the guitar picks have a slight texture that the light just loves to pick up when I take the pictures! And the camera that I use exacerbates it.

The pick is 1.25 inches long from the top to bottom and 1 inch at it's widest point. On the back of the pick I secured the pin and used a PVC rubber clutch. I now include both the PVC rubber and the metal backing so that you can use whichever one you want. Pins also come in a cotton filled box to ensure safety while in the shipping process.
