This is an Estate Fresh old book from a desert located Estate home.  It is a COOL🔥 Scarce Charlotte Brontë Jane Eyre 1944 Illustrated Modern Library Rare 2nd Printing Ed 🔥.  This is a scarce and collectible copy of *Jane Eyre* by Charlotte Brontë, published in 1944 as part of The Illustrated Modern Library series. This edition is notable as the Second Printing edition in the Modern Library line, featuring stunning illustrations by Edward A. Wilson.  It comes in pretty nice condition as described above and Pictured.  Please note:!! This particular collection of books of over five hundred, was in a home way out in the middle of a desert area in a crossroads town in Northern NM.   The home was heated by a wood stove only.  Books were stored in a room with a wood stove for years and the books have picked up traces of a wood smoke smell.  The smoky smell is only noticeable when the books are open and is not offensive.  NO mold or mildew, just a light Pinon wood smoky smell.
