The rare beautiful Paul Stankard paperweight is in perfect condition.

The top face presents a breathtaking pond scene featuring multiple water lilies in blue, pink, and yellow with richly veined green lily pads and a dramatic red and black dragonfly with delicate translucent wings hovering at center. Viewed from below, the piece reveals Stankard’s iconic Root People — elongated human forms emerging from root clusters — a hallmark of his most collectible and sought-after work. Within the roots, the words “SEEDS” and “FERTILE” are included.

It is signed, “Paul J. Stankard v6 2000”.

Approximately 3” in diameter and 2.5” in height.

This piece is part of my late father-in-law’s extensive glass collection. He had an incredible eye for beauty and always selected the best of the best. He also had a personal relationship with many artists so some pieces were commissioned or made specifically for him. Most items were promptly stored and never displayed. We are excited to share his carefully curated pieces with other collectors who will love and appreciate them as much as he did.
