This is a Revere Ware 12" skillet with the double ring manufacturer insignia on the bottom of the pan. The copper bottom, which is highly sought after, is designed for use on electric and gas stoves.
This two-piece set includes a lid and frying pan, all made of stainless steel. The knobs and handles are made of Bakelite. There are no cracks or chips. The skillet features a round shape, with a 3" deep capacity. The outer sides of the pan have a slight slope outward and aren’t formed straight up. There were two different types made. This is why I’ve included pictures with the ruler on the outside and the inside to show the difference.
Manufactured in the United States before 1968, this original piece of cookware is a collectible item for those who appreciate vintage cookware.
The skillet sits flat on the stovetop. This is very clean and in overall excellent “true vintage” ….. ready to use condition!!
