Here we offer a Triang Hornby Helicopter Car, in need of a little tlc but worthy of the effort for the price - a red helicopter and khaki wagon (you can have a NATO green wagon if you wish). This model preceded the Triang Hornby Battle Space range. It was one of a couple of 'action' models inspired by Lionel of the USA and this particular one flys off its carrier wagon and up into the sky. It's phenominal success at launch led to the development of the full range of Triang Hornby Battle Space models, at which time this model became known as the Rescue Helicopter Car.
As noted, it does require some TLC, so here are the gritty bits. It comes with an instruction leaflet which is a copy leaflet, not an original one. It comes in the correct box which does not have the product number on it - in many cases, stick on labels have not stood the test of time so it is not unusual to find some Battle Space products packed in boxes which appear to have a blank label box. The box is in only fair condition and it missing a flap at one end and the yellow insert which holds the wagon in place . The helicopter os missing part of its tail and most of its landing feet/raills - quite probably damaged on duty/in action. It is also missing the trigger mechanism which fits to the traack and triggers the chopper to take off. However it can still be operated with the large finger, or you can now but trggers on ebay - new 3D prints
So there you have it - warts and all - but a very keenly priced item and a lovely inexpensive start for any of you who have caught the 'collect Triang Hornby Battle Space' bug.

We are looking for a NATO green coloured Plane Launching Car R562 - listed in some catalogues, but not sure if it was ever produced. We are also looking for a 4 Rocket Launcher R343 Nato Green or Khaki in a red box with yellow 'Battle Space' on all 4 sides (not a window box).
