It can be installed using wooden poles and/or insulators (not supplied) with 2 wires (operation if both wires are touched) or 1 wire with earth pole connection (operation with 1 wire only). The device can also be installed in gutters, roofs of houses and buildings and in any place where, if properly installed, the device can ward off annoying and unwanted animals. High voltage pulses: max. 2400 V in cycles of > 1.2 sec. Extremely low current consumption: Ø 0.008 A. A 12 V/DC plug-in power supply, output of at least 100 mA or a 12 V car battery > 12 Ah is still required for operation (power supply NOT included). In both cases the electrical cable requires an insulated cylindrical connector of 5.5 x 2.1 mm. The device must be installed in a dry and closed place protected from rain and water and connected via appropriate cables (maximum voltage > 2400V) not supplied to the fence. In the installation site it is mandatory to indicate the presence of the fence; for correct operation it is necessary to carefully consult the manual provided.
