Made in Czechoslovakia, 1920's-1930, approximately 100 years old!
Slight variance piece to piece with approximate being 5-1/4"- 5-3/8" long x 3 - 3-1/8" tall
Rare to find a full set and given their age they are in great condition, display beautifully, and will be a fine addition to your lobster seafood serving pieces and collection. For this type of art deco figural pottery, these are actually the nicest and have the least paint wear and color loss that I've come across in many years.
Condition: There have been no repairs made on these; I do not find any cracks or hairlines. Any noted "flaws" are inherent from the time of production other than perhaps one old shallow surface chip on the inside edge of one of them that is well "age sealed" over (flaws are circled in the photo stream). You can expect tiny occasional white spots where the red-orange paint was missed or didn't fill a pit in the pottery (most white spots you see in the photos are glare spots, however), some superficial kiln fissures on the inner rims of a couple of them, tiny pit or pinholes in the pottery surface (circled), but all have been there and held up since they were made and they do not distract from the use or looks of the pieces. They are antique, so you should expect age related flaws and perhaps a small occasional paint rub, but there are no detrimental damages, repairs, repaints, or distracting concerns. They display very well and are usable with care.
They are stamped Made in Czechoslovakia with marks characteristic of the Art Deco 1920 to 1930 era. Very similar to the old Royal Bayreuth figural German pieces and would blend beautifully with any of those you may have. A very attractive set!
