Up for bid and for your consideration is a vintage Speedy Gonzales, animated, twin bell, novelty, wind up, alarm clock. In the original box. Made in China for Warner Bros. Studio Stores.

This brightly colored, fun clock would make an interesting addition to any child's room, Warner Bros. or novelty clock collection. 

Here are the details:

The clock is about 6-5/8 inches tall to the top of the handle, 4-5/8 inches wide and almost  2-1/4 inches deep including the keys.

The case is a nice bright red colored, painted metal. The bells, carrying handle, peg legs and alarm clapper are also painted bright red. The case sits on the 2 peg legs and the outer edge of the back rim. Overall the case is in very nice condition, with little to no wear.

The dial of the clock features a close up of Speedy Gonzales' head and face. This has a really cool and effective animation! His snout rocks back and forth with the seconds and it looks like he is nibbling the cheese that he is holding in his hands. The back of the case is marked "Made in China" and also has a clear sticker with copyright and manufacturing information.

All winders, time and alarm set knobs, and fast/slow adjustment are located on the back of the clock and all are present.

The clock works. The alarm also works, and it rings loud. The alarm on/off lever is on the top of the clock. You just swing it back and forth to stop or release the clapper for the bells.

Please understand that I can not guarantee that a clock will continue to run. It is being sold with no warranty or guarantee of accuracy. Any clocks I sell are vintage and likely needs to have the movement cleaned and /or oiled. I also have no way to know how the clock is handled upon arrival. For this reason, I no longer accept returns.

The original box in in nice condition for its age. The cellophane over the "window" opening has yellowed slightly with age. There are also some creasing and dents in the edge of the window along the edges. There are also scuffs scrapes and even some dents overall on the box. It is not perfect, but still nice enough for gift giving!
