Vintage The Original Nurdanian Clock Runs Backwards! 1980s Novelty Original Box!
Up for bid and for your consideration is a vintage "The Original Nurdanian Clock" Runs Backwards! 1980s Novelty, Battery Operated in the original box!
This clock would be great in a vintage kitschy room or for anyone who likes vintage novelty clocks! To you clock collectors it would be a fun addition to your collection.
The details:
This clock measures about 5 inches in diameter, and about 1-3/8 inches deep.
The case is white plastic and has black printed Arabie numbers. The case sits on 2 parallel feet that are moulded as part of the case.
The movement is fitted to the back of the case and is a battery operated quartz movement. It takes one AA battery that is not included.
But the really weird thing about this clock is that it is totally backwards! All the numbers are backwards, and it actually runs backwards! I guess you would eventually get used to it or you can just hold it up to a mirror to easily read the correct time.
There are a few light scuffs across the dial and light circular scratches where someone manually set the hands, and their hands touched the dial. The black printing is in great shape, not showing any scuffs.
The dial is marked: "The Original Nurdanian Clock" above the center posts of the hands and "(C) 1980 Martek Ltd. Made in USA" Along the bottom under the six position.
It is also marked "Martek Ltd." on the back of the clock in raised letters.
The clock works and is in nice condition.
Please understand that I can not guarantee that a clock will continue to run. It is being sold with no warranty or guarantee of accuracy. Any clocks I sell are vintage and I have no idea how many hours are on a battery movement. I also have no way to know how the clock is handled upon arrival. For these reasons, I do not accept returns.
It has its original box which measures 5-3/8 inches square across the top and 2-3/8 inches tall.
The box is in good condition. It is solid, but there are stains, rubs and small scratches overall.
It has the original instruction sheet, which is really a little "history" book about the clock told in a humorous fashion.
This clock would be great in a vintage kitschy room or for anyone who likes vintage novelty clocks! To you clock collectors it would be a fun addition to your collection. Maybe you know someone who would enjoy this as a gift? Why not bid now?!
