This Blazer is a great piece of Australian sports memorabilia that could be hanging on your bar wall or in the office.
With the Brisbane 2032 Olympics just around the corner, this Australian Team Atlanta Olympics 1996 Blazer would prove a savvy investment for any collector.
Please read the below information if seriously considering this item. Thank you.
- Please do your own research on this item. The only examples I could find are hanging in two sports museums (Melb and Perth).
- Check pictures closely. You'll see this is the real thing. And if upon receiving the item you think it's fake. I'm more than happy to take the blazer back before refunding in full.
- Apologies for my pictures. Clothing photography is not my speciality at all. The 2nd picture shown isn't this jacket being sold, it can be found on google images. I just wanted an example of how the jacket can look when photographed properly, in good light.
- The inner lining of the centre spine stitch needs re stitching and the corner of the front pocket needs a little love, see pictures. The Blazer is in great condition other than those two flaws. Official stitched branding is inside the jacket lining. The tag on the neck has had the athletes name cut off. Examples that are hanging in the museums still have the athletes tag.
- Athlete is unknown. Sizing is women's large according to sportscraft sizing of 14 which is on the tag. The Blazer was sourced in Metro Brisbane.
- The Olympic gold crest stitch is beautiful not to mention the gold buttons.
