Vintage Sew-Tric S-7111 flexible shaft grinder / rotary tool setup with hardwired foot pedal control, flex shaft, and hand piece. This is a heavy-duty British-made flex shaft machine with the same general setup and working style as Foredom-style series tools.

This type of tool is useful for jewelry work, woodworking, carving, metalworking, polishing, grinding, deburring, engraving, detail sanding, and other bench or shop applications where a flexible-shaft handpiece gives better control than a standard handheld rotary tool.

The motor plate is marked “Universal Motor,” “British Made,” Model No. S-7111, 110V, and 1/10 HP. The foot pedal is marked Sew-Tric. The motor, power cord, foot pedal, flexible shaft, and handpiece are all permanently connected together as one complete hardwired setup and do not disconnect from each other.

This is a solid vintage bench tool with a cast-style motor housing, metal handpiece, heavy flexible shaft, and foot pedal control. It has a much more substantial industrial/shop feel than a small hobby rotary tool.

Tested and working. Motor powers on, the foot pedal control works, and the flexible shaft handpiece spins/operates as it should.

Shows wear from age, use, and storage, including surface oxidation, scratches, discoloration, finish wear, and general shop/tool wear. The red flexible shaft covering shows age and wear but remains intact. Cord, pedal, motor, shaft, and handpiece are vintage original components.
