BACKGROUND  &  DESCRIPTION

This delightful and very rare
VINTAGE STYLE
 CERAMIC STONEWARE ROLLING PIN
Is from the LAURA ASHLEY'S BLUE & WHITE CHINA ROSE DESIGN
Collection of Kitchen and Table Ware.
Dating back to 1984,
This design has long since been retired,
Therefore is quite a rarity and collectable in a New and Unused condition.

LAURA ASHLEY is a British textile design company,
Founded by RICHARD ASHLEY and his wife LAURA ASHLEY in 1953.
Based in London they first became known for creating Victorian style head scarves, 
One of which was worn by Audrey Hepburn in the film Roman Holiday.
The company relocated to Wales in 1961,
And later grew to become an international retail chain with in excess of 500 stores,
Selling a variety of clothing, fashion accessories and household goods.
In 1985 the company was taken public after the death of its founder. 
Its products have been described as 'quintessentially English.

The ROLLING PIN
 has
 been carefully stored inside a cupboard,
And comes from a pet and smoke free home.

Measuring approximately 45.5 cms in Length including Handles,
And with a Diameter of 7 cms across the middle.
