The box is in fair condition, with missing top and bottom.  There is edge wear along the box.  The box is original but not necessarily part of the 5 books that are included. (Number Fifty-Six, by Stephen Leacock: Gentleman Jim, by C. S. Thompson:Jimmie's Waterloo, by H. C. Catlin: Blue Pete's Escape, by George Randolph Chester: Three Musketeers, by Kipling)  The softcover books are all in good condition, free from rips, tears, writing and stains.  Gentleman Jim has a corner bend.  The softcover wraps are all in good condition. The bindings are tight and square.
