Herend White Sitting Cat Porcelain Figurine #5383 – Handpainted in Hungary

Beautiful Herend porcelain figurine of a seated white cat. This is Herend’s sitting cat model #5383, featuring a glossy white finish with subtle hand-painted facial details and striking green eyes.

The form has a wonderful sculptural presence, with the cat posed in an elegant seated position and the tail curled along the body. The clean white glaze gives it a refined look while still allowing the molded details of the face, ears, body, and tail to stand out.

The underside is marked Herend Hungary Handpainted with the Herend shield mark, painted artist/production marks, and the impressed model number. Based on the mark style, I would describe this as a vintage mid-to-late 20th century Herend piece.
