Original Cold War-era USAF electrical reactor assembly removed from an F-86D Sabre interceptor and still retaining its original 1956 AF Form 50D repair/work tag. This preserved military avionics component remains sealed in heavy depot preservative coating and is marked “R.A.C. 420,” “68-3130,” and “PEERLESS ELEC. PROD. DIV OF ALTEC LANSING CORP. LOS ANGELES, CALIF. SPEC. 13991.”

The attached USAF tag identifies the unit as a “REACTOR” removed from F-86D aircraft with serial number 52-5584, documented operating time of 210.05 hours, and inspection date of 20 NOV 1956. An excellent provenance-based piece for F-86 Sabre, Korean War and Cold War aviation collectors, military electronics collectors, avionics restoration reference, or aerospace display collections.

Jet-age military artifact with surviving USAF repair/rework tag, identifiable aircraft serial association, and untouched preserved condition.
