This postage stamp is the lowest value from a three-stamp commemorative set issued by the Kingdom of Italy on September 28, 1921. It was produced to honor the 600th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri (1265–1321), the legendary Italian poet and author of The Divine Comedy. [1]
