Up for sale is a James Jones Alto Bowed Psaltery, 2 1/2 octaves.

The instrument is tuned with zither pins and a tuning wrench.

This Two and Half Octave Bowed Psaltery has 32 strings and is fully chromatic. The range is C6 - G3. There are markers indicating the Cs and Gs on the soundboard. Pin Spacing is 1" which makes playing nice and smooth. All strings are steel giving you a very full sound. 

Size is 25" x 8.5" x 2 1/2". 1 inch pin spacing. This is an Alto Psaltery

These instruments are made entirely of solid hardwoods and quality tone woods giving you a beautiful sounding instrument!

Instrument is solid wood.  I believe back and sides are Walnut. Top may be Spruce. I am not positive, see photos, it does have a beautiful sound. I have owned this one for awhile, we live in Florida so humidity is good and Psaltery is in great condition no cracks no dings, just a couple of very minor scratches see photos. 

I have a lot of bowed Psalteries so I am thinning my collection a bit. If you have any questions feel free to ask. See photos for condition, I took several for you to look at.
