Original WW2 British Royal Marine War Economy Plastic Collar Badges Boxed x99
Genuine manufacturers box of 99 collar badges as worn by Royal Marines personnel on their tunic collars during the Second World War. These badges are a war economy variant made from plastic to divert the use of brass for more important areas of war production.
The badges are in good original unissued condition and feature brass tabs to the rear to secure to a uniform. The box is recently discovered new old stock which have been stored in the original box for the last 81+ years. Each badge has a manufacturers name to the rear for A. Stanley & Sons Walsall.
The box is complete with lid; however, the staples have come loose (see pictures). The box originally contained 100 badges; however, one is missing. The badges are unissued and still in original paper packaging. The label features the manufacturer Alfred Stanley & Sons, Wallsall, Badges, Collar, Plastic, Royal Marines, Colour Blue.
