Deep Hillstream is a specially formulated fish food for hillstream loaches, L-number plecos, river fish and bottom dwelling grazing fish. By mimicking their natural diet of scraping aufwuchs (biofilm, algae, and micro-crustaceans) off river rocks, this food provides a targeted nutritional profile with a minimum of 38% crude protein from natural ingredients.
Powder / Mash Type Food: This specialized powder mimics natural biofilm. You mix two parts water
to one part food to create a paste. This paste is smeared directly onto
aquarium rocks, driftwood, or glass. It allows the loaches to use their
modified mouths to naturally scrape off food without it dissolving and
fouling the water.
