Key Design Elements
- Figural Form: The
piece is modeled as an elegant woman in a layered, flapper-era Rococo
style gown with purple/lavender and yellow/cream detailing.
- Integrated Scent
Reservoir: The large cornucopia-style bundle of pink roses held in her
right arm serves as the hidden container for liquid perfume.
- Crown Stopper: The
top of the flower column is fitted with a classic brass crown top stopper
and an underlying cork plug.
Material & Provenance
- Origin: Produced
in Germany during the Art Deco era (circa 1920s). Makers of these style
bottles often included porcelain houses like Coronet, Sitzendorf,
or Goebel.
- Composition:
Delicate, hand-painted glaze over a white glazed porcelain or bisque body.
- Functionality:
These pieces were highly popular vanity accessories designed to function
both as an ornamental boudoir figurine and a usable fragrance bottle.
- Mark: has an
impressed mark on the lower center base of skirt which appears to be that
of "Sitzendorf". Marked Germany and 15903 on the back at the base.

approximately 4 ¼ inches tall.
Condition: Nice
condition as pictured. One very small chip on the base. Bottle is empty. Please
