I do not see any chips, cracks,  or crazing on the lid or teapot. I do not think it was used, or it was used rarely, as the unfinished rim of the lid has no staining and the pot interior is very clean and shiny. I have felt the edges for fleabites and did not feel any. It will be insured and packed extremely carefully, in an oversized box.
