Color plates embellished with sparkly, metallic-green ink. Publisher's advertisement on verso of title page lists five titles, the fifth being John Dough and the Cherub. (Bienvenue 47; Hanff 61-62)

Light blue cloth boards with full-color pastedown illustration of a carriage full of Oz characters in the Emerald City to front board. Black title and a silver-embellished rabbit holding a musket in "present arms!" position to the spine. Rubbing to extremities. Rubbing to extremities with top corner of paste-on front torn and a couple minor scars to illustration. Touch of fading and soiling to spine. Corners nudged and just showing. Scuffing to rear board. Previous owner's name on sticker to front free endpaper and handwritten on ownership page. Front and rear hinge started. Illustrated rear free endpaper missing. Textblock is solid; pictures are bright. Good.
