Five raised bands with filigree gilt to compartments. Top spine tips barely nudged, cover bright and clean. Interior clean and bright. Thin line of offsetting to edges of front and rear free endpapers. Usual light toning to margins of text block. Signed binding by (William Turner) Morrell of London. Very Good Plus.

James Stephens (1880 - 1950) was an Irish poet and storyteller whose pantheistic philosophy is revealed in his fairy tales set in the Dublin slums of his childhood and in his compassionate poems about animals. (from Britannica).
