Today I am offering this fabulous pair of vintage "The Tailored Sportsman" brand English horse riding breeches also called habits/pants.

These awesome vintage horse riding breeches are labeled "made in the USA", size 28.

They look to be high-waist, equestrian, super nice quality pants with expert tailoring and craftsmanship.

They are marked "dry clean only". They are khaki colored dense, heavyweight fabric. I don't see a tag saying what they are made of. They are not stretchy. Maybe a rayon/wool blend would be my best guess.

These are women's pants in my opinion.

They have a vertical left side hip zipper, and 2 front hip pockets on each side near the waistband.

There are standard size belt loops.

The leg bottoms have veIcro flap closures at the interior cuff edges.

The interior knees are padded with what appears to be light brown suede leather. (not sure w/o fabric content label).

They are labeled a size 28 and the measurements laying flat are approximately as follows:

• 14" from side to side across the top edge of the waistband
• 18" across from side to side at hip level
• 11" front rise
• 15" back rise
• 10" across from side to side of the thigh
• 25" inseam
• 5" from side to side across the bottom edge leg opening (adjustable)
• 34" total length from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom edge of the leg cuff
• 8" side zipper

Please MEASURE AGAINST A SIMILAR GARMENT you already own to ensure proper fit.

They are in very good vintage pre-owned condition.

There is some darkening on the suede knee patches, but no damage.

I see no holes, stains, snags, split seams, fraying, or other flaws.

I detect no smoke smell or other odors.
