This early T bevel is unmarked but the decorative brass thumb screw gives it away being the Disston "sunburst" pattern. It has a modified 4 inch blade so when closed it is only the size of the body. You can tell this is an earlier bevel with the flatter angle on the blade and the two anchors on the bottom brass plates. Sadly the owners initials gave no respect to the fantastic rosewood but at least they put it on the back. Could be a handy little bevel for the right jobs.
